They may not be the only ash trees still standing in New Hampton, but they are among the few.

Glenda Holthaus, age 64 of Cedar Rapids and formerly of New Hampton, died Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at her home.

Louie Kobliska, age 75 of New Hampton, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City surrounded by his family.

Diane Joyce Reuscher, age 79 of Nashua, died Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Ravenwood Specialty Care in Waterloo.

Betty Ann Attleson —  beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend — passed away peacefully on Wednesday April 16, 2025, in Rochester, Minnesota, at the age of 87.  

Daniel Leo Kobliska, age 75 of New Hampton, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at his home.

Dan was born on Jan. 30, 1950, in New Hampton to Leo and Mildred (Ludwig) Kobliska.
