Kenneth W. Cutsforth, of Branson, Missouri and son of Harry and Iva (Underwood) Cutsforth, was born Oct. 9, 1940, in New Hampton, and departed this life peacefully with his wife at his side on Nov. 16, 2023 at the age of 83.

Ellen L. Kuennen, age 82 of Iowa City, passed away at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics on Thursday, March 21, 2024, surrounded by her family.  She had a long journey with multiple sclerosis and more recently with cancer.

Rose Marie Goerend, age 94 of St. Lucas, died Friday, March 22, 2024, at Stoney Brooke Village Assisted Living in West Union.

Rosemary Schwickerath, age 84 of Alta Vista, died Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Colonial Manor of Elma.

Dale Stringer, age 69 of New Hampton, died Monday, March 18, 2024, at UnityPoint Health-Allen Hospital in Waterloo.

Cindy Lou McLean Lockey, age 65, passed away in her home on Friday, March 15, 2024.

Cindy was born in Waterloo and grew up in Charles City with her sister, Susan McGinn, and parents, Loyal and Norma McLean.

Kenneth “Ken” Schwickerath, age 82 of Charles City, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2024, at the Floyd County Medical Center in Charles City.

Our mother, Helen Schnurr, died peacefully on Thursday, March 14, 2024, after a long and full life.

She was born on Nov. 9, 1928.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be missed terribly.
