They left their buildings on the afternoon of Friday, March 13, and everyone — teachers, students, paras — figured they’d all see each other on Monday, March 16.

Norbert H. Jenn, age 83, of Ionia, IA passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at New Hampton Nursing and Rehab in New Hampton.



New Hampton high school band teacher Justin Adam and middle school band teacher Jenny Adam will both admit adjusting to online schooling has been a challenge. Nevertheless, they believe they are starting to get the hang of it.

Patrick G. Folkers age 70 of New Hampton, IA died Wednesday, April 15, 2020, at his home surrounded by his family.

Howard Wayne Huedepohl, age 78 of Williamsburg, died Sunday, April 5, 2020, at his home.
He is the father of Kathy (Rich) Stochl of New Hampton. 

Norma Irene Holanchock (née Allen), age 89 of Las Vegas, died Friday, April 10, 2020.
Norma was born in New Hampton on Sept. 15, 1930,  Kenneth and Lenore Allen.

A third case of Coronavirus COVID-19 has been documented in Chickasaw County.
