Nancy L. Webb, age 81 of Ionia, passed away on Friday, Dec. 27, 2019, at MercyOne in New Hampton with her family by her side.
A funeral service for Nancy will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2020 at Conway-Markham Funeral Home in New Hampton. Burial will be held at New Hampton Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 3, 2020 at Conway-Markham Funeral Home and will continue one hour prior to the funeral service on Saturday. Online condolences may be directed to www.conway-markhamfh.com. Memorials may be directed to the family.
Nancy Louise was born Sept. 28, 1938, the daughter of Ralph and Violace (Warner) Werner in New Hampton. Nancy attended New Hampton High School. On July 11, 1956, Nancy was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart, William “Bill” J. Webb. The couple made their home in New Hampton where they welcomed their three children; Jean, Shirley, and William. Nancy worked at Mercy Medical Center in New Hampton for 30+ years until her retirement in 2000. After retiring together, Nancy and Bill enjoyed traveling and spending their time camping at the river. In her spare time, Nancy stayed busy sewing, embroidering, crocheting, quilting and digging into a good book.
Those left to cherish her memories are her husband of 63 years, William Webb of Ionia; her children, Jean (Doug) Dallman of New Hampton, Shirley (Dan Hook) Webb of Fort Worth, Texas and William (Annette) Webb of Hampton, Virginia; her grandchildren, Amy (Aseem) Patnaik, Jason Dallman, Kyle (Rosalba) Huber, Shannon (Joey) Warner, Mackenzie (Tamara) Webb and Cassandra Webb; great-grandchildren, Natalia, Ian, Eddy, Julianna, Kailey, and Levi; her sister, Rosemary Fathke of Waterloo and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Robert, Louis and James Werner.
