It’s too little, too late for Trojan girls

Lead Summary

Turkey Valley started their rally against South Winn a little too late Thursday.
After dropping 25-13 and 25-12 sets, the Trojans were breathing down the necks of the Warriors in the third set, but also lost that one, 25-22.
“We had a rough night in Calmar,” coach Ethan Adams said. “We made too many unforced errors and they ran their offense in system and made us pay for it. We simply cannot make the amount of mistakes we made and expect to win games. The girls know that and will reflect and hopefully we can fix a few things.”
Karissa Schmidt led the team with five kills.
Details on the match may be found in the Sept. 18 Tribune.
