Julie Learn, age 61 of Colwell, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the Floyd County Medical Center in Charles City. 
A memorial service for Julie Learn will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 24, 2021 at Hauser Weishaar Funeral Home with Pastor Coulter Page of Bethany Alliance Church officiating. 
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 24, 2021 at Hauser Weishaar Funeral Home. 
Julie Fay Learn, the daughter of Willis and Myrtle (Throndson) Ransom, was born on December 21, 1959 in Charles City. She attended school in New Hampton. She was united in marriage to Pat Learn on February 13, 2008.
Family was everything to Julie and she loved spending her time with her children, grandchildren, and greatgrandchildren. She also enjoyed her time taking drives and listening to music. 
Living family members include her husband, Pat Learn; children: Brandi Eckert, Rusty Joe (Heather) Barker, and Caleb Rubben Barker; stepchildren: Misty Johnson, Richard (Crystal) Alton, Danielle Learn, Zane (Michelle) Learn, Amy Learn, and Hazel Hampton; many grandchildren and greatgrandchildren; sisters: Luana Heit of Spring Valley, Minnesota, Donna Slick of New Hampton, Pat Randall of New Hampton, and Jodie Beck of Charles City; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. 
She was preceded in death by her mother and father; grandparents, Eva and Clarence Throndson; brother-in-law, Rick Slick; uncle, Ed Throndson; niece, Patti Hoeck; and cousin, Paul Barta.
