Huskies click, win over Indians

    A fun run usually comes during cross country meets. But Nashua-Plainfield coach Justin Eiffler wants his boys basketball team to have one.    “As a team we are just trying to click as one heading down the stretch of the season,” he said after a win over Clarksville and losses to Osage and Garner-Hayfield/Ventura. “Clicking now is important for a tournament run, and we would really like to have one of those fun runs this year.”    If they play the way they did in the first quarter of a 62-32 win against Clarksville, that might happen. But after a 20-9 lead at the end of one, the scoring slowed and the Huskies only had nine points in the second quarter.  The rest of the story may be found in the Feb. 2 Reporter.
