Cindy L. Tieskotter age 39 of New Hampton, IA, died Tuesday, November 5, 2019, at MercyOne Medical Center in New Hampton.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 15, 2019 at Holy Family Parish in New Hampton with Rev. Brian Delleart celebrating mass. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, New Hampton.
Friends may greet the family 4:00 - &:00 p.m. Thursday, November 14, 2019, at the Hugeback Johnson Funeral Home and Crematory where there will be a 2:45 rosary a 7:00 p.m. parish scripture service. Cindy Lee Tieskotter was born Sept. 25, 1980, in New Hampton, the only daughter of Roy and Nancy (Grober) Tieskotter.
She received her education in New Hampton and was a graduate of the New Hampton High School Class of 1999.
During her high school years, Cindy was involved in the music programs playing the flute as well as participating in the choir.
Cindy worked as a certified nurse’s aid at Linn Haven Rehab and Healthcare and the Parkview Care Center in Waterloo.
Her life changed on April 14, 2002, when she welcomed her daughter Emily into the world.
She will be remembered by her family as someone who had a generous heart and was always there to help in any manner possible.In her free time, she loved embroidery, making many gifts for all her family.
Cindy enjoyed cooking and as her family remembers made the best trail mix for them to enjoy.
She loved time with her daughter and her beloved cat, Mystic.
Cindy is survived by her daughter, Emily Guyer of Hawkeye; her parents, Roy Tieskotter and Nancy Grober, both of New Hampton; three brothers, Jacob (Kim) Tieskotter of Omaha, Nebraska, Thomas Tieskotter of New Hampton, and Adam (Kelli) Tieskotter of Norfolk, Virginia; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Andrew and Bernadine Tieskotter and Andrew and Sally Grober.
