Before last summer, Claire Quirk had never stepped on a wrestling mat … or at least she had never wrestled on one.
Now, she’s in the history books.

Dennis “Denny” E. Burke, age 49, of Alta Vista, IA passed away due to complications of cancer on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at his home.

Although they were playing against a West Central team who had won just two games entering play, the Turkey Valley boys basketball team was all business on Tuesday night.

Majella M. Koudelka, age 104, of New Hampton, IA passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at New Hampton Nursing and Rehab.

Looking into the future was the goal for the Iowa Women of Today meeting which was hosted by the New Hampton Women of Today.

When Eric Olson took over as the head coach of the New Hampton girls golf team in 2011, his goal was to turn what was a struggling program into a competitive one.

The new gym and commons area were packed last Thursday night as community members came out to see what exactly New Hampton High School has been up to these last two weeks.
