After losing two crucial Northeast Iowa Conference games to Waverly-Shell Rock in the middle of last week, the Chickasaw baseball team could have easily hung their heads in their contests on Thursday and Friday. 

It was, to steal an overheard comment from the crowd, “instant cuteness.”

A pair of Chickasaw duos participated in the Iowa Class 1A Coed State Golf Tournament at American Legion Golf Course in Marshalltown on June 4.

Being able to bounce back is key for any team, and the Turkey Valley softball team was able to do that throughout last week.
It started last Monday, when the Trojans fell to MFL-Mar-Mac in the first game of a doubleheader 7-3.

With an undefeated week that included six home runs and outscoring their opponents by a combined score of 75-2, the Class 3A 13th ranked Chickasaw softball team dominated the competition.

A whopping five Chickasaw golfers claimed all-state selections in Class 2A by the Iowa High School Golf Coaches Association.

The Turkey Valley baseball team inched closer to its first victory, as they played their tightest game of the season last week. In this matchup, the Trojans fell to MFL-Mar-Mac 13-8. This was the first contest of a doubleheader on Monday.
