Librarians worry about county funds

Chickasaw County’s public librarians are hoping it’s nothing more than rumors, but they are attempting to mobilize support because of fears that the county will either cut or reduce funding to the county’s six libraries.

Huskies fall in district opener

The Nashua-Plainfield boys basketball team wrapped up its season a little sooner than they wanted to last Thursday, falling 58-50 to Ackley-Geneva-Wellsburg-Steamboat Rock (AGWSR) in Class 1A, District 4 action at Rockford.
