The City Council on Monday night learned that New Hampton will finish with a “RAGBRAI surplus,” and the mayor of the city profusely thanked all those that made the July 27 appearance of the ride in New Hampton a “rousing success.”
A group of Nashua residents on Monday night presented a petition to the City Council and asked members to consider revamping the city’s Police Department.
The renovation project at the New Hampton Municipal Pool gained steam last week as Parks and Recreation Department and Burbach Aquatics officials held a “pre-bidding” meeting with four contractors to discuss the $627,000 project.
