Turkey Valley’s Reicks repeats at UIC, Trojans score first dual win

Cale Reicks became a repeat Upper Iowa Conference champion pretty much the same way he did last year — by pins.  A year ago Reicks upset the No. 1 seed for the title, pinning him in the championship match after a first-round bye and second-round fall.  The only thing that changed this year was that Reicks was the top seed, and after a first-round bye and a fall over South Winn's 16-11 Braxton Smith, the junior scored a fall with six seconds left in the title bout over Starmont's 25-10 Tyler Lynde.  Reicks scored 24 of the 42 Turkey Valley team points in the UIC meet as the Trojans finished eighth of nine schools with four wrestlers competing.
