Trojans make quick work of Blue Devils on senior night

Lead Summary

Turkey Valley's boys had some great numbers as they were recording a win over West Central Friday night. Numbers they hadn't seen since their first game of the season — also against the Blue Devils.  After recognizing a pair of seniors — Nathan Mueterthies and Jaden Bruess — the Trojans rolled to a 69-29 victory, just one point closer than the first meeting, which ended in a 69-28 TV win.  Despite the nearly identical score, Bruess thought the Blue Devils played a bit better than they did the first game. But so did the Trojans.  “There was a little more excitement tonight because of senior night,” he began, “we've been working hard and I think we're better at moving the ball and getting to the spots we need to be.” More on the story, which also includes a loss to Sumner-Fredericksburg, please see the Jan. 24 Tribune.
