Trio of Trojans named to all-state teams

Just after Turkey Valley’s brilliant football season ended, Trojan coach Mark Scott talked about his seniors.  “They’ve worked hard, and they’ve been good leaders,” he said. “I hope people have noticed.”  Well, the sportswriters certainly did as it named three Trojan seniors to the Iowa Newspaper Association’s eight-man all-state teams.  Wyatt Blazek was named to the first team as a linebacker, Cody Hackman garnered second-team honors at defensive back and Kelby Reicks was named to the third team.  Details of each of the players may be found in the Nov. 25 Tribune.
