Shirley L. Feuchtwanger, age 83 of Grand Prairie, Texas died on Nov. 24, 2018, in  Grand Prairie Texas.
A funeral will be held Thursday, May 2, 2019, at 10:30 a.m. at Republic Community Church in rural Ionia with the Rev. John Tunnicliff and William Griffee officiating and Mary Jean Parks playing the organ, followed by interment at Greenwood Cemetery. The crematory was Flower Mound Family Funeral Home in Flower Mound, Texas.
Shirley was born on Jan. 29, 1934, to Clarion Solbrack and Helen Jurgenson.
She married Ralph A. Feuchtwanger on Jan. 22, 1956, in Waterloo. Shirley mothered five children and worked as a homemaker. Ralph died on June 14, 2017.
She is survived by four children: Berton (Linda) Feuchtwanger of Dike; Gary Feuchtwanger of Grand Prairie, Texas; Harold (Edwina) Feuchtwanger of Flower Mound, Texas and Kent (Misty) Feuchtwanger of Grand Prairie, Texas; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarion Solbrack and Helen Jurgenson, husband Ralph Feuchtwanger, son Dale Feuchtwanger, brother Eugene Solbrack, and sisters Wilma and Nadine.
Memorials may be made to Republic Community Church, 1794 280th St., Ionia, IA 50645.
