Numbers are low as Trojans open season

Lead Summary

The stories for the Turkey Valley wrestlers may be a bit on the short side this season.  There are seven out for the sport, but a couple that are new to the sport didn’t wrestle in the South Hardin quadrangular Tuesday as the Trojans started competition.  Turkey Valley fell to North Butler 66-12, South Hardin-BCLUW 72-9 and Clarksville 57-6.  Cale Reicks led the team with a fall and a 6-4 decision over 2A, 10th-ranked Ryland DuChane of SH-BCLUW. Reicks is currently unranked in Class 1A.  Kelby Reicks also picked up a pin in the SH-BCLUW meet and against JC Ulrich of North Butler.  Results of all three meets may be found in the Dec. 2 Tribune.
