Barbara J. Duckett, age 70 of Ionia, passed away on March 2, 2018, at her home in Ionia.

Carma Jean Bouska was born Oct. 30, 1950, in Sumner to Robert and Margaret (Rieck) Fink. 

Scott A. Cleveland, 54, of New Hampton, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018, at Mercy Medical Center-New Hampton.

Diane M. Trewin, age 51 of Emmetsburg and formerly of New Hampton, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018, after a courageous battle with cancer.

New Hampton boys basketball coach Chad Sweitzer couldn’t have been much happier with how his Chickasaws fared when it came to the all-Northeast Iowa Conference teams league coaches selected recently.

To say New Hampton had a good day at Saturday’s district individual speech contest is, well, an understatement.
