Lucille Kruse, age 95 of Norwalk and formerly of Waucoma, died Thursday, Oct. 28, 2021, at Edencrest at the Legacy in Norwalk.

Ardes J. King, age 90 of Lawler, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021, at Colonial Manor in Elma.

Leah Kay Schwickerath, age 54 of New Hampton, died Thursday, Oct. 28, 2021, surrounded by her family at MercyOne New Hampton Medical Center.

Andrew “Andy” Brown, age 51 of New Hampton, died Sunday, Oct. 17, 2021, at the Good Shepherd Health Center in Mason City. 

Elinor “Elly” (Rings) Brass, age 60 of Charles City and formerly of New Hampton, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 21, 2021, at her home.

Kathie Ann Steege, age 66 of New Hampton, fell asleep in death peacefully with her husband and daughter by her side on Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2021, at MercyOne New Hampton Medical Center. 

Rita A. Rasing, age 82 of New Hampton, passed away on Friday, Oct. 22, 2021, at New Hampton Nursing and Rehab with her family by her side.

David “Dave” M. Snyder, age 82 of New Hampton, died Monday, Oct. 18, 2021, at the Colonial Manor of Elma.

Dale Skoda, age 70 of Fredericksburg, died Friday, Oct. 15, 2021, at his home. 

Lyle D. Njus, age 87 of Lawler, died Friday, Oct. 15, 2021, at the New Hampton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. 

Julianna “Julie” Drilling, age 58 of Nashua, passed away Sunday, Sept. 26, 2021, surrounded by her family at home.

Rita Swinton, age 90 of Nashua, died Monday, Aug. 30, 2021, at the 11th Street Chautauqua Guest Home in Charles City. 

Karen E. Orvis, age 81 of Lawler, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021.  

Kenneth Michael Ungs was born on March 6, 1954 at St Joseph’s Hospital in New Hampton. His parents were Bob and Dolores Ungs. 

The family moved to Readlyn in 1963, and he graduated from Wapsie Valley High School in 1972.
