TV seniors finish with four-year 51-3 UIC record

Lead Summary

Turkey Valley’s girls utilized a knee brace, crutches and ice at South Winn Tuesday. And still beat the Warriors 52-28 to go undefeated in the Upper Iowa Conference for the third straight year.    The knee brace belonged to Emily Busta. The junior injured her left knee during her freshman year and wore a brace all last year. This season before the season started she did the same thing to her other knee and had to obtain a right-sided brace.    Luckily, she doesn’t have to wear both. “I wasn’t about to use both braces, I’d look like Forrest Gump,” she said, shaking her head.    Before she undergoes surgery on the knee, Busta is hoping to complete the season.
