TV hoops teams stay hot with wins over Tripoli

For the first time all season, the Turkey Valley girls basketball team is ranked in Class 1A. After a 13-1 start to the 2019-2020 campaign, the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union slotted them in at No. 15 - the final spot in the rankings.
The Trojans’ most recent victory came against Tripoli on Thursday. Their offense was scorching hot in the first half of this game, racking up 47 points. This allowed them to take a 47-28 lead into the halftime break.
The Panthers were unable to overcome this large deficit. TV held them to just six points in the third period while posting 14 of their own, as they went on to top Tripoli 71-52.
