Turkey Valley wrestles seven meets last week

Turkey Valley's wrestlers played catch-up last week.  After a long layoff in December, one in which they didn't wrestle at all after the South Winn invite Dec. 10, the Trojans wrestled seven meets last week, against Starmont and Edgewood-Colesburg Thursday; Decorah, St. Charles, Minn., Waukon, Postville and Decorah's JV on Saturday.  In his seven matches, Cale Reicks was 6-1, starting with a Thursday fall over Starmont's Tyler Lynde.  “That guy was supposed to be pretty good, he came into the meet with a 16-4 record,” said Reicks. “But I guess we didn't match up well.”  More on the story may be found in the Jan. 17 Tribune.
