Turkey Valley trapshooters open with a victory on their home range

The Turkey Valley trapshooting team opened its season with a bang Monday as the Trojans had the top two squads, the top five male shooters and the top two female shooters in a meet against Crestwood.
Turkey Valley White fired a 218 to beat Turkey Valley Red by seven shots for the squad title while Crestwood I finished in third with a 194.
Five Turkey Valley shooters — Carter Reicks, Dylan Elsbernd, Ethan Leibold, Isaac Franzen and Kannon Leuenberger — all fired 46s to lead  the boys while Kaylie Klimesh led the girls with a 46, one shot better than teammate Alexus Ball and Crestwood’s Payton Hanni.
