Turkey Valley girls fall in regional semis

It was a fourth quarter that the Turkey Valley girls basketball team wishes they could have back.
After leading for nearly the entire contest, the Trojans were outscored in the final period 17-7 on their way to being topped by Central Elkader in the Class 1A regional semifinals 43-36 on Friday night, bringing an end to their season.
The Warriors entered the game played at North Fayette Valley High School with an exceptional record of 20-3. They were a familiar opponent for Turkey Valley as an Upper Iowa Conference rival. The teams split the two games they played during the regular season.
