Trojans pick up first wins of the season

Lead Summary

After a month of struggling, the Turkey Valley baseball team was finally able to taste sweet victory last week, not once, but twice, as they nabbed their first two wins of the season.
Both of these came in a doubleheader against Postville in Jackson Junction on Monday evening.
The Trojans topped the Pirates handily in the first contest by a score of 12-2 in six innings.
Junior Elliott Dietzenbach posted his best showing of the season on the mound, as he went all six innings, allowing just two hits, giving up no earned runs and striking out eight.
