Trojans nab trio of tourney victories

After winning just four games a year ago, the Turkey Valley volleyball team surpassed this total last week - only midway through the season.
And not only did they top it, but they nearly doubled it. Their overall record currently sits at 7-8 after a trio of victories at a tournament on Saturday in Waukon.
“Coach (Ethan) Adams focuses a lot on being positive and keeping it upbeat. I feel like at the tournament, we focused on having fun and playing good fundamental volleyball,” sophomore Josie Weber said. “By not allowing our mistakes to frustrate us, we were able to carry the momentum throughout the day.”
