Trojans give Warriors final-set fight

At times the student section may have been sitting Thursday night as the Trojan volleyball team was playing at home against South Winn. But they were back on their feet in the third set.Although Turkey Valley had leads — albeit brief ones — in a 25-16 first-set loss and a 25-21 loss in the second set, that air of excitement just wasn’t there.And it wasn’t in the third set, either, until an Emily Busta kill on a Morgen Kuennen set made the score 20-16, South Winn. With Kuennen at the serving line the TV girls scored the next five points, including a Kuennen ace, to go up 21-20.What happened next may be found in the Sept. 20 Tribune.
