Trojans finish regular season on strong note

Lead Summary

The Turkey Valley softball team ended the regular season on a strong note, as they posted a record of 4-1 last week to finish 16-15 overall and 11-5 in Upper Iowa Conference play.
As the best hitting team in the Upper Iowa Conference, with an average of .383, the Trojans showcased their offensive firepower to start last week, as they swept South Winneshiek in a conference doubleheader on Monday.
Turkey Valley starting pitcher Jordan Lukes struggled on the mound to start the first game, as she only went 1 2/3 innings, conceding six runs (three earned). This allowed the Warriors to jump out to a 6-0 lead.
