Trojans drop conference match; go 1-2 at tourney

Lead Summary

After getting their record up to .500 at 8-8 to start last week following the win over Postville on Tuesday, the Turkey Valley volleyball team faced some stingy competition - falling in three of their final four games to end the week.
The first of these defeats was by far the most heart-breaking. It went all five sets, as the Trojans were eventually topped in an Upper Iowa Conference match against Clayton Ridge on Thursday 3-2.
The Eagles jumped on Turkey Valley right away, dominating the first set 25-13. The Trojans made the second set more interesting before falling 25-22 to go down 2-0.
