Trojan girls send three events to state

A trio of events punched their ticket to the state track meet for the Turkey Valley girls’ track team on Friday evening at Edgewood-Colesburg High School. 
The one common aspect among each of them is that they all involve freshman standout Jalyssa Blazek.
Individually, Blazek placed second in the 800-meter run at the state qualifying meet with a time of 2:24.93. This trailed only Katie Brennan from Kee, who won the event by clocking in at 2:24.49.
