Students get ‘personal’ with their Spanish

This wasn’t some Halloween project gone wild; instead, it was a chance for New Hampton High School students to use their Spanish in a meaningful way.Yes, they munched on snacks, laughed and had a good time, but then again, that is exactly what “El Día de los Muertos” — the Spanish words for “Day of the Dead” is supposed to be all about.“It’s not supposed to be a sad time,” said junior Ali Denner, “instead, it’s really supposed to be a celebration.”For the complete story see the 11/4/2016 New Hampton Tribune.
