Splitting in Charles City

It may have been a little closer than the New Hampton girls basketball team had hoped, but the Chickasaws were able to top Charles City on Tuesday 72-60 to sweep the season series against the Comets.
Charles City held a 45-36 advantage midway through the third quarter and seemed to be gaining momentum after back-to-back 3-pointers by Lydia Staudt.
However, New Hampton responded with a 25-6 run during the midst of the third quarter to take a 61-53 lead.
