Sawmill Goofy Golf will be in Nashua Saturday

The Chickasaw County Trail Riders are excited to present Sawmill Goofy Golf this Saturday afternoon at the Nashua 4 Fairgrounds beginning at 2 p.m.This is 12 holes of golf for only $5 per round. The children will have fun at the Kids Play Land and there will also be a 50/50 raffle going on throughout the afternoon. Winner of the raffle will received 50 percent of the pot."This is more like a redneck golf course," said Jeremy Deutsch. "It's a few unique things we came up with for the course."All money raised will go towards the Easter Seals - Camp Sunnyside in Des Moines. This helps children and adults with disabilities and their families. Anyone who attends Camp Sunnyside has opportunities to canoe, horseback riding, nature trails, archery, indoor pool and much more for their week of fun or just for the day.The Chickasaw County Trail Riders and Pony Express Riders of Iowa have been holding fundraisers for the Easter Seals program for the last 49 years. The state of Iowa has already reached 10 million dollar mark for donations for the Easter Seals program.If anyone has any questions about the event please contact Pam Lore at (641) 330-7841.
