Ninja in the house!

Lead Summary

Levi Enright remembers sitting in front of the TV with his brother and grandpa and watching this new show on NBC.
And “American Ninja Warrior” hooked him.
“I just thought this is kind of a cool thing,” the 2018 Nashua-Plainfield High School graduate said, “and the next thing you know, I’m building these obstacles to put in my back yard. I fell in love with it.”
And now, 10 years later, he has a chance to be on the television show that runs throughout the summer and includes the national finals in Las Vegas in September.
Enright received the call last week to compete on American Ninja Warrior’s 13th season, and better yet, so, too, did one of his best friends, his training buddy Chris Behrends, who is originally from Clarksville.
“Seriously, I can’t tell you, I can’t really explain, the emotions I had those first couple of days,” he said. “I mean this is something I’ve been dreaming about since I was like 11 or 12. To have it become real, wow, that’s pretty cool.”
More on the story may be found in the March 4 Reporter.
