New Hampton, Turkey Valley take advantage of good weather

It was a good day for the New Hampton trapshooting team, who competed in a triangular against Waverly-Shell Rock and Turkey Valley at Fredericksburg Sportsman’s Club on Monday. 
The Chickasaws dominated, with all three of the top boys and two of the top three girls. The only girl who wasn’t from New Hampton to place in the top three was Turkey Valley’s Kaylie Klimesh.
The lone perfect score on the evening came from Tanner Lane. Luke Croell and Tristen Schmidt both tied with 48 for second among boys. However, Croell defeated Schmidt in the shoot-off 24-20.
