New Hampton tightens hold on second place

Although last week didn’t end the way the New Hampton softball team hoped it would, they still managed to pick up a trio of victories. 
The first of these wins came in an intense game at Crestwood on Monday night by a score of 7-3.
After gearing up for Cadets’ star pitching Laken Lienhard - who has an ERA of 0.62 - in practice, the Chickasaws were shocked when they instead saw freshman pitcher Kyleigh Foster due to an injury to Lienhard.
