New Hampton ready for big weekend, and Fredericksburg on deck

Organizers of New Hampton’s annual Heartland Days celebration are ready for “a bigger and better event, one that kicks off its three-day run at 6 this evening with the annual parade.Now, they’re hoping Mother Nature cooperates.And although there is a chance of thunderstorms throughout the weekend, a day-long soaking doesn’t appear to be in the mix.— For more on this story, see the June 8 New Hampton Tribune.
