New Hampton JV girls off to 5-2 start

The New Hampton junior varsity girls basketball team’s winning streak reached three straight after they defeated Waukon, Charles City and Waterloo Columbus at the beginning of December to move them to 3-1 overall on the season.
New Hampton fell to Turkey Valley 38-27 in its opener before beating Waukon 23-17, topping Charles City 30-18 and besting Columbus 50-16.
As a team against Turkey Valley, the Chickasaws racked up 15 steals. This included five by Rylee Schumacher and three each by Emily Jackson and Chloe Reicherts.
