Milestone day!

The award for best ricochet off a tree stump Monday at the New Hampton Golf and Country Club went to Chickasaw JV golfer Faith Erdman.
“Yeah, I knew I would probably hit that stump,” she said of the shot on hole No. 2. “But it worked out pretty well anyway.”
After hitting the stump, the ball went straight into the air and sailed across the creek — which claimed more than a few shots during the day — and landed on the other side.
