MFL makes it a sweep over Trojans Friday

The chances of winning an outright conference title just got a little slimmer Friday for both the Turkey Valley girls and boys as each team dropped games to MFL at the Trojan gym; the boys lost 59-55 and the girls were defeated 52-36.
Not that either of the Trojan teams are out of the running. The girls only have three conference losses and the boys have two. Three teams have two losses on the boys’ side — MFL, South Winn and Turkey Valley.
“We’re no longer in the lead,” said the Trojans’ Eli Nymeyer after the loss. “We’ll need some help, hopefully someone knocks off MFL and we’ll have to win the rest of our games.”
