Janice Louise (Mooberry) Robbins, the daughter of Clint and Louise (Daily) Mooberry, was born April 15, 1948 in Floyd County, Iowa. She attended country school with her brothers and sisters, grade school in Floyd and graduated from Charles City High School in 1966.
Janice was united in marriage to Lloyd Robbins on July 9, 1966 in Highland Falls, New York. They lived in New York and Virginia for a short time before moving back to the area and settling in Ionia in 1971 where they resided until Janice’s death.
Janice was a full time mom who loved taking care of her family. She also worked at the Ionia Grocery Store and All State Foods. Janice enjoyed camping, sitting in the sun, cooking, watching movies with her grandchildren and spoiling them with her candy dish and the bag of licorice that was always on hand. Her next door neighbors meant the world to Janice and she cherished their friendship. Janice also liked to do a little gambling at the casino…just a little. She meant a lot to so many people, but didn’t realize the impact she made on them.
