It’s a ‘return’ of sorts for Chickasaws’ new head softball coach

Lisa Rude isn’t going to lie — she missed coaching softball.
So when New Hampton softball coach Jack Seelhammer announced after last season that he was retiring after 13 seasons at the helm, Rude was more than a little interested.
“I had to figure out if it could work with my schedule because who knows me, knows I’m going to be all in or it isn’t going to work,” she said, “and once I knew I could make it work, it’s something I knew I had to pursue.”
