The Turkey Valley Trojan cross country season is nearing the end of its run.
John H. Staley, age 80, died unexpectedly at the lake house he created and loved in Nashua on Monday, Sept. 30, 2024.
John was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the only child of Harlan G. Staley and Margaret (Joyce) Staley.
Gary Lee Arends Sr., age 84 of Nashua, died Thursday, Oct. 3, 2024, at Unity Point Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo.
Marlys Hart, a former New Hampton resident, died Thursday, Oct. 3, 2024, in Loves Park, Illinois, surrounded by family.
Linda Palmer, age 82 of New Hampton, died Saturday, Oct. 5, 2024, at the Faith Lutheran Home in Osage.
Lawrence “Larry” Hackman, age 72 of Lawler, died Thursday, Oct. 3, 2024, at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City.

One of New Hampton’s busiest roads will remain closed to traffic through Tuesday afternoon, Public Works Director Casey Mai said Monday.
