Heartland Days’ Committee gears up for fun year

While New Hampton’s Heartland Days may be scheduled for June 8th through the 11th this year, committee members are already hard at work planning events to attract community members and visitors to New Hampton for the celebration.“Planning really starts one week after the festival has wrapped up,” said New Horizons-Chamber director Jason Speltz. “We book the band usually the following Monday for the next year and then get into regular meetings around October.”The small but mighty group of committee members meets monthly to dream up new and exciting ideas for the next year.For the complete story see the 11/22/2016 New Hampton Tribune.
