Great weather equals great times for Turkey Valley girls

The beautiful weather conditions allowed Turkey Valley to run some of its best times of the season on Monday at South Winneshiek. The Trojans finished fifth of the seven teams who competed, as they mustered up 82 points.
Jalyssa Blazek ran personal bests in both the 800 and 1500-meter runs on her way to first place finishes in each.
Her time of 2:24.89 in the 800 ranks best in Class 1A for a freshman and is currently fifth overall in the class. Blazek is just two and a half seconds away from the top spot in this division.
