‘Go-big’ champion!

Evan Rosonke stood in the hallway at Wells Fargo Arena and tried to fathom what had just happened.
The New Hampton/Turkey Valley senior was a state champion.
“It’s a really big deal for me,” he said Saturday night after he beat Dylan Winkel of Central Lyon/George-Little Rock to claim the Class 2A 195-pound state championship. “It’s just unbelievable, and to be honest, it hasn’t fully set in yet, but it’s amazing. It’s something I’ve dreamed about for the longest time.”
