A fistful of rings!

Decorah golf coach Scott Pierce emphasized the word “again” as he announced the 2019 Northeast Iowa Conference girls golf champions last Monday.
And while Decorah and the rest of the NEIC schools may be tired of the iron-clad grip New Hampton has on that title — they’ve tied the conference record with five straight championships — coach Eric Olson isn’t.
He fielded the apparently perennial question “does it ever get old” with a quick answer.
“Nope. And it never will.”
