Ferrie named to second team; Rinken honorable mention

Carter Ferrie and Rachel Rinken weren’t going to lie — making an all-state team was important to them. 
Granted, they would both trade the honor in a heartbeat if it meant New Hampton could have made the state football playoffs and state volleyball tournament.
Still, the two Chickasaws are proud to be all-staters as Ferrie was named to the Iowa Print Writers Association’s Class 2A second team and Rinken was named honorable mention in Class 3A by the Iowa Girls Coaches Association.
