Nashua-Plainfield football coach Chase Sudol didn’t want his team to mess around Friday night when the Huskies traveled to Rockford.“We told them, ‘Go out and get after them.’ And that’s exactly what they did,” Sudol said after the Huskies rolled to a 57-0 win over the Warriors in a Class A, District 3 game. “We wanted to take control right away and I was impressed with how our guys were ready from the get go.”Less than three minutes into the game, the Huskies already had a 14-0 lead as Braydon Fisher scored on a 4-yard run 101 seconds into the tilt and Levi Enright added a 7-yard TD run with 9:06 left in the first quarter. And the Huskies capped a fantastic first period with a Dayton Hansen-to-Levi Enright 37-yard pass to push the advantage to 20-0 with 29 seconds left in the frame.Hansen and Enright, both juniors, had the best games of their careers as Hansen was 12-for-14 passing for 149 yards and Enright finished with eight receptions for 106 yards. For the full story, please see the Sept. 22 Reporter.
