Chickasaws shine at state coed golf meet

Lead Summary

All in all, it wasn’t a bad way to end one of the best golf seasons in New Hampton High School as the Chickasaws’ two entries finished in the top-12 at the Class 1A state coed golf tournament that was played Tuesday at Marshalltown’s American Legion Golf Course.
Ryan Anderson and Allison Nuss finished with a 79 to finish in sixth place while Morgan Nuss and Wyatt Stochl tied for 12th with an 84.
The coed meet wrapped up a season in which the New Hampton girls won their fifth straight Northeast Iowa Conference title and claimed the school’s first-ever team title at the state tournament while the boys qualified for the state tournament as well.
